An inflatable mech rhino design inspired by a series of giant robot animals from Japan. The eyes are glossy vinyl applique details.

Modelers notes

This design is another milestone in modeling. The prior curve based artwork tracing during 3D modeling used in the Scout Wolf project has been replaced by a pure "preview in blender" approach. The main benefit of this is focussing entirely on shape conformance first, and apply the artwork only once at the end. This saves a lot of time drawing, retracing, and correcting as it can be traced once directly onto the 3D preview. This project also used an experimental "paint on the seams" approach to great success. For more information, see Paint on seams.
